My Empisal EM250 not sewing in zigzag

The spring needs to go back to where it came from. Unfortunately there is no parts schematic showing all the parts and where they go. You will either have to look inside for evidence of where it was, or take it to an Empisal service centre. https://www.google.com/search?q=Empisal+EM250+parts+schematic and Zig Zag fix videos https://www.google.com/search?q=Empisal+EM250+not+sewing+in+zigzag ..

Led light does not work. how to replace led light on singer 14sh654

I believe the newer machine lights need to be replaced by a technician. You can check on getting some of those LED light strips that can be added to the machine instead.

Riccar Reliant 58 top tension not working. I have taken top off and removed the plate that houses the tension plates and dial. Can't get it back on.

No one has documented stripping and replacing the top tension discs and spring. In normal circumstances, no one ever takes them apart. Take the bag of bits into a sewing machine repairer and have the machine cleaned, serviced and timed. https://www.google.com/search?q=Riccar+reliant+58+top+tension+strip+down ..

My Elna Stitch Craft 4000 sews very small stitches even after I adjust the length?

It sounds like there might be an issue with the settings or mechanism of your Elna Stitch Craft 4000 sewing machine. Even after adjusting the stitch length, if it continues to sew very small stitches, there are a few things you can try: 1. **Check the Stitch Length Dial**: Ensure that you are adjusting the stitch length dial correctly. Sometimes, the dial may not be turning properly or may be stuck, leading to the machine sewing at the same small stitch length regardless of your adjustments. 2. **Clean and Oil the Machine**: A sewing machine that hasn't been cleaned or oiled in a while can have issues with stitch length consistency. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to clean out any lint or debris from the machine and oil the necessary parts. 3. **Inspect the Feed Dogs**: The feed dogs are responsible for moving the fabric through the machine. If they are not functioning properly or are obstructed, it can affect the stitch length. Check for any debris or damage to the feed dogs and clean or replace them if needed. 4. **Check the Bobbin Tension**: Incorrect bobbin tension can also cause irregular stitch lengths. Make sure the bobbin is correctly threaded and that the tension is adjusted according to the machine's specifications. 5. **Test with Different Fabric and Thread**: Sometimes, the type of fabric or thread being used can affect stitch length. Try sewing on different types of fabric with different threads to see if the issue persists across various materials. If none of these steps resolve the problem, it may be necessary to have the machine inspected and serviced by a professional technician. They can identify any underlying mechanical issues that may be causing the small stitch length problem.

How old is a Husqvarna Viking 5530. I have the manual and all the parts. It hasn't been used in many years and not sure if it is in good working condition. It was stored in the case.

The manual will usually have a copyright date or printed date something like ' 05/97 '. The best price I found was $171 on eBay. You can search for prices sold there. Designer 1 touch screen is frozen, and I cannot calibrate because reverse button is also stopped working.

When the Designer 1 touch screen is frozen and unresponsive, preventing you from calibrating or using the reverse button, it can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue: 1. Restart the Machine: - Turn off the Designer 1 embroidery machine and unplug it from the power source. - Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes reset the system and resolve minor software glitches. 2. Check for Physical Obstructions: - Ensure that there are no physical obstructions on the touch screen that may be causing it to be unresponsive. Clean the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or debris. 3. Perform a Hard Reset: Performing a hard reset on the Designer 1 embroidery machine can help resolve software-related issues and reset the system to its default settings. Here is a general guide on how to perform a hard reset on the Designer 1 embroidery machine: A. Turn off the Machine: - Ensure that the Designer 1 embroidery machine is turned off and disconnected from the power source. B. Locate the Reset Button: - On some embroidery machines, including the Designer 1, there may be a small reset button located on the machine. - The reset button is typically a small, recessed button that may require a pin or a paperclip to press. C. Press the Reset Button: - Using a small pointed object like a pin or a paperclip, press and hold the reset button on the embroidery machine. - Hold the reset button for a few seconds (typically 10-15 seconds) to initiate the hard reset process. D. Release the Reset Button: - After holding the reset button for the specified time, release the button. E. Power On the Machine: - Plug the Designer 1 embroidery machine back into the power source and turn it on. - The machine should restart, and the hard reset process should be complete. F. Check Functionality: - Once the machine has restarted, check if the touch screen and other functions are responsive and working properly. - Test the touch screen, buttons, and other features to ensure that the hard reset has resolved the issue. (Please note that the exact steps for performing a hard reset may vary depending on the specific model and design of the Designer 1 embroidery machine. It is recommended to refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific instructions on performing a hard reset for your particular machine model.) If the hard reset does not resolve the issue with the frozen touch screen and unresponsive buttons on your Designer 1 embroidery machine, contact customer support or seek assistance from an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair. 4. Contact Customer Support: - If the touch screen remains frozen and unresponsive despite trying the above steps, it is recommended to contact the customer support service for the Designer 1 embroidery machine. - The customer support team can provide further guidance on troubleshooting the touch screen issue and may suggest additional steps to resolve the problem. 5. Professional Repair: - If the touch screen continues to be unresponsive and the machine is still under warranty, consider taking it to an authorized service center for repair. - Professional technicians can diagnose the issue and perform repairs if necessary to restore the functionality of the touch screen. It's essential to handle electronic devices like embroidery machines with care when troubleshooting issues to prevent any further damage. If you are unsure about performing any of the steps mentioned above, it's best to seek assistance from the manufacturer or a professional technician to avoid causing additional problems.

My Brother 1034D Serger presser foot lifter just spins. I had read that its just glued into a little plastic piece. Has anyone had this same problem and if so did you just glue it back? Did it wor

I had the same problem a while back and ask here. I was told to take it to a tech. Not the answer I was looking for. I did some searching and found a diagram then knew what I needed. Here is my reply... I just replaced mine. wasn't hard at all. I couldn't find just the plastic part, had to buy the whole thing. First it is called a Presser foot shaft assembly, part #xb0876001. You can buy it from Sew4Less.com and it cost me 25.57 with shipping. You will have to remove the front cover and take out the two screws holding the bar in. You will also need to remove the lifter bar and end panel to get the bar out. Insert your new part and replace the covers and lifter bar. This is how I fixed mine. Hope it helps.
