There are two types of sub. The first is the powered type. This has a socket that connects via a cable to your amp socket - marked sub out. Some amps have the abillty to switch this socket on or off and comtrol the output. The sub itself is mains powered.
The other sub is none powered. This requires the speaker cables to be connected to it, the bass being extracted from them, before passing the signal on to the speakers

I believe it's the Speed sensor inside the motor drive case. The Part number on my sesor is Sharp 1A35R. It's a sensor that tracks the platter speed. If I replace the whole motor PCB with a good one then the turntable works just fine. I ordered a couple 1A35R from Ebay and hopefully that will solve the problem.

Just fixed my PV1000 that would not power on. Verified 185vdc on bulk capacitors. Measured 11vdc on U5 (UC3842) from pin 5 (gnd) to pin 7 (vcc). Then measured 0vdc from pin 5 (gnd) to pin 8 (ref). This should be 5vdc. This means that U5 is shut down for undervoltage. Turned out to be two open resistors. R94 100k 2w and R77 33k 2w. Never would have guessed that as there was no sign of heat discoloration. They are next to each other between U5 the UC3842 PWM IC and Q3. This prevented the proper startup voltage for U5. Replaced them and I'm off and running once again. Hope this helps someone.

The F76 message indicates a fault in one of the internal outputs on the power supply. There aren't any settings or resets that will fix this, and the Panasonic will require service.

Maybe helps:
