How do I fix the fan on my D46 720 humidifier?
Working on line voltages without safety precautions and experience may cause injury and electric shock.
Check the switch and connecting wires from mains to fan motor. Similarly check there is no obstacles restricting to move fins. Usually fan motors are heavy duty motors and rarely become defective.

Why does my Aprilaire humidifier gurgle?
Mine was doing the same thing...first month of operation (installed toward end of heating season) = no problems with noise (bubbling, gurgling) though the duct work - started second year toward middle of season. Now its been running for a few weeks and is intolerable. I dug out owners manual and it did not address this at all. I dug out the installation manual and viola! Gurgling is caused by excess condensation in the steam hose. Sure enough the steam hose had a small area depression and did NOT have the constant downward slope necessary - installation instructions are VERY specific about needing a slope in order to allow condense to drain from the steam house. The zip-tie installation had slide down from a vertical stabilizing pipe & allowed for the hose to sag in the middle (nice install job slacker). I adjusted it and the SOUND IS GONE. Hope this helps someone else.

I can't get my humidifier to get the humidity to get over 17% and the dial is set at 30% it goes to 20% and flashes
Without brand and model, my advice is definitely a shot in the dark. Only your manual or your manufacturer's site can inform you of what the flashing means.
Here are some tips that might help you increase the humidity in your room:
Check the humidifier's water level: Make sure that the humidifier has enough water to function properly. If the water level is low, the humidifier may not be able to produce enough moisture to increase the humidity in the room.
Clean the humidifier: Over time, mineral deposits and bacteria can build up in the humidifier, which can affect its performance. Clean the humidifier regularly according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Place the humidifier in the right location: Place the humidifier in a central location in the room, away from walls and other obstructions. This will help the humidifier distribute moisture evenly throughout the room.
Use a humidistat: A humidistat is a device that measures the humidity in the room and automatically adjusts the humidifier's output to maintain a desired humidity level. If your humidifier does not have a built-in humidistat, you can purchase a separate one and use it to control the humidity level in the room.

Elektra humidifier has a flashing water warning sign
Is this a mist generator with an ultrasonic element, popular for "health?"
These have a wick and water is not going trough the dry wick by itself. One should make all of the wick wet, from bottom to top. After that the water keeps being taken up to the element until the device is stored and the wick dries out again. Another thought is that these ultrasonic elements are very similar to a buzzer, like in toys. Two round sheets of metal with plastic in between. This is not like having long lifetime. For expensive mist makers you could perhaps order a new element but I do not have high hopes. Being so vulnerable the humidifiers are shipped containing no water. It is important to rest the top of the wick in water also. Just making the wick wet close to the element does not help or gives bad results.

HumiHumidifier was running. because water level was level I filled as usual. now it doesn't run.that's the problem.Pleas help
There could be several reasons why a humidifier stops running after refilling it with water. One of the most common reasons is that the humidifier's float switch is stuck in the "low water" position, which prevents the humidifier from turning on even after refilling it with water . Another reason could be that the humidifier's water level sensor is malfunctioning, which causes the humidifier to stop running even when there is enough water in the tank/
If you have a whole-house humidifier, it could be that the humidistat is set too low, which causes the humidifier to turn off even when there is enough water in the tank 1. Alternatively, if you have a portable humidifier, it could be that the unit's motor has burned out or that its fan has stopped working .
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try cleaning the float switch or replacing the water level sensor if they are damaged. If you have a whole-house humidifier, you can try adjusting the humidistat to a higher setting. If you have a portable humidifier, you can try replacing its motor or fan
