Just inherited and no manual for controls

check the condenser fan. make sure its running. thats most likely the problem

In the freezer side there is a panel in the back. behind the panel are the evaporators. over the evaporators are heaters you will find one of then broken from water dropping on it the bottom one was broken on mine. put a fan to the freezer and thaw it out. get the model and serial numbers and look on ebay.com. or there is a place called http://www.repairclinic.com/ These are not hard to change but above all UNPLUG THE FRIG OR THEY MAY PUT YOU IN ONE. Question edited for full 'make model (what it is). Question moved to Maker category. 'FF' is Fast Freeze. Do a Power Reset. Disconnect from the mains for 5 minutes and plug back in. If that doesn't fix it, you will need a service call. It may have leaked refrigerant gas.

Is it on Economy Mode? That only chills the bottom area. Check the condenser fins are cleaned of dust. That needs doing every 6 months. Or it needs refrigerant gas. ..
