Whirlpool WGD4800XQ1 Dryer-- Replaced burner coils and it worked great. The next day no ignition again.

There are about seven different possiblities and the prospective solution in each case appears to be replacement of a different part! I suppose if you have the proper testing equipment for assessing each of those parts, you might be favored with a relatively inexpensive fix. I would be embarassed to suggest you replace all in sequence until the dryer works. Thermal Fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety mechanism that prevents the dryer from overheating. If it blows, the dryer won't heat. Check if the thermal fuse is intact and replace it if necessary. Cycling Thermostat: The cycling thermostat regulates the temperature inside the dryer drum. If it's faulty, the dryer may not heat properly. Consider checking and replacing the cycling thermostat. Igniter: The igniter is responsible for lighting the gas burner. If it's defective, the dryer won't ignite. Inspect the igniter for any signs of damage or malfunction. Gas Valve Coils: Although you've already replaced them, double-check the gas valve coils. Sometimes, even new parts can fail. Ensure they are securely connected and functioning correctly. Ventilation: Poor ventilation can lead to longer drying times and affect ignition. Make sure the dryer vent is clean and not obstructed. A clogged vent can cause overheating and affect ignition. Door Switch: The door switch ensures the dryer doesn't operate when the door is open. If it's faulty, the dryer won't start or heat. Verify that the door switch is functioning properly. Timer and Controls: Check if the timer advances correctly during the drying cycle. Malfunctioning controls can impact ignition. Inspect the timer and control board for any issues. Whirlpool Dryer WGD4800XQ1 - OEM Parts & Repair Help - PartSelect.com

Maytag drier lint screen will not go in all the way

I had this problem as well. I pulled the lint filter out and vacuumed everything and it still wouldn't go down. I made sure to clean all the 'tracks' around the edge of the filter, in case that was causing the problem. No luck. I stuck my fingers in and even pulled the interior cover off to get at whatever was holding it up and still NOTHING. But then I found the problem! The handle where you reach in and pull the filter out has to go in behind the interior vent cover. You have to stick your head in the dryer to see that it's catching. One side of my 'handle' wasn't going behind but resting on top. I pulled out the filter and then I gently pushed on the plastic interior filter cover for a few seconds and then tried the filter again. I did it several times before I got the cover pushed enough so the handle was nesting behind the cover properly. My theory is that when the lint accumulates it lifts the filter up. And when the filter doesn't get nested all the way, the plastic cover softens enough in the heat that it bends slightly in. After a while, it bends in enough to keep the filter sitting slightly above where it ought to be and you can't get it down in there. I am going to keep my filter space cleaned out regularly to make sure the filter always sits down in there properly. But regardless, I figured it out so I can fix it again if I have to.

I've just browsed your hand book that goes with this machine, as I'm in the UK I can sumise from the booklet that this won't reset as the fluff filter has something obtrusive in it, or there is something caught in the tube venter grille, can I suggest if both those are clear you hold the cancel/reset button down for a few seconds to reset & reboot it into ready mode, sorry I can't be of more help than this ????

I cleaned the blades on my Ionic Pro Air Filter 2 times, then vacuumed the slots on the vent. It is still buzzing when I turn it on.

2xs and 2x's is 2 extra small in clothes and not the same as '2 times'. Edited out for clarity. If the fan isn't turning, either the run capacitor has failed or the fan is binding. If the fan is turning is is part of the ionization process or there is a bad connection. What the maker says Noisy functioning (audible loud buzzing sound) is a sign that your Ionic Pro® Compact ionic air purifier is overdue for a complete clean-up of the collection blades and the internal ionizing wires. The internal ionizing wires must be kept clean to ensure silent and normal operation. May 10, 2011

Magic Chef Dryer MCSDRY35W Compact Dryer turns on with heat and then shuts off within 5 minutes. Started today. The only things I have done are look up poblem on line and looked at potential prices.

problem: Check the Ventilation: Ensure that the dryer's exhaust vent is not blocked or obstructed. Proper ventilation is crucial for efficient drying and preventing overheating. Clear any lint buildup or debris from the vent. Overheating Protection: The dryer may be shutting off due to overheating. Check if the unit feels excessively hot during operation. If it does, the thermal fuse or thermostat might be tripping. These safety features prevent the dryer from overheating. If they are faulty, the dryer will shut down. You may need to replace them. Load Size and Type: Make sure you're not overloading the dryer. Excessive load can strain the motor and cause it to shut off. Also, consider the fabric type. Delicate fabrics might trigger the safety features if the heat is too high. Power Supply and Cord: Confirm that the dryer is properly plugged into a grounded outlet. Check the power cord for any damage or loose connections. Avoid using extension cords, as they can affect performance. Timer and Settings: Verify that the timer is set correctly. If the timer runs out, the dryer will stop. Also, ensure you've selected the appropriate heat setting (low, medium, or high) based on the fabric type. User Manual: Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on operating and troubleshooting your dryer. If the issue persists after checking these points, consider contacting Magic Chef Customer Service at 1-888-775-0202 for further assistance.

Faqe7077kw0 dryer beeps 3 times won't start replaced the door switch same problem. Hold in the select button and press start and it will run until I let up on the select button

  1. Check the Power Supply:
    • Ensure that your dryer is receiving proper power. Use a multimeter to test the wall plug. You should have two poles giving 110-120 volts each and a ground. If only one side is hot and the other is not, you could have issues.
  2. Common Causes for Dryer Not Starting:
    • Let's explore some common reasons why your dryer might not start:
      • Thermal Fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that protects the dryer from overheating. If it's blown, the dryer won't start. Test it for continuity using a multimeter Check your exhaust vent for restrictions..
      • Start Switch: If the dryer hums but doesn't start, the start switch might be faulty. Test it for continuity with a multimeter.
      • Door Switch: The door switch activates when the dryer door is closed. Listen for a "click" when you start the dryer. If you don't hear it, test the door switch for continuity.
  3. Door Switch Solution:
    • If the door switch isn't "clicking," it might be the culprit. Try this:
      • Push the length of the switch from side to side (without removing it) to see if it clicks.
      • If it clicks, it's likely not defective.
      • Reassemble the dryer to see if it works.
Remember to safely disconnect the power before attempting any repairs. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consider seeking professional assistance or further diagnostics

Haier gas dryer rdg350aw won't heat up

Let's troubleshoot this issue and find a compatible heating element. Check the Igniter: The igniter is responsible for lighting the gas burner. If it's faulty, the dryer won't heat. Inspect the igniter for any visible cracks or damage. If needed, replace it. Thermal Fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that cuts off power to the heating element if the dryer overheats. Check if the thermal fuse is blown (no continuity). If so, replace it. Gas Valve Solenoids: These solenoids control the gas flow to the burner. If they're defective, the dryer won't heat. Test them for continuity using a multimeter. Replace if necessary. Heating Element: Since you specifically asked about the heating element, let's focus on that. The compatible heating element for your Haier gas dryer model RDG350AW is the Haier Dryer Heating Element (Genuine OEM Part # WE11X27362). You can find it online or at appliance parts stores.

Have a cissell 170lb dryer it will ignite than flame will go out

Most likely problem with ignitor. You can try cleaning the ignitor. One reason I can think of is that the feedback from the ignitor circuit is not working. What usually happen is that when the flame have started. The ignitor will generate a small current to tell the ignitor control board that there is a presence of flame. If the small current feedback is not detected. the system will automatically shut off the gas for safety reason. You probably tried stopping and restarting and the same condition will occur.

Re: Frigidaire Dryer FEQ332CES0, Heating Element Connection

If the terminal is 5/16 it needs to be 5/16. The reason is that it passes the correct resistance. The smaller the contact, the more resistance and heat. You may be okay with a 5/16 connector in 250'F and that is probably the best option. However, I would image that any local wholesale electrical wholesaler would carry them. https://www.google.com/search?q=5%2F16+high+temperature+spade+terminal Nedco and CES are my go-to wholesalers https://www.google.com/search?q=electrical+wholesaler+near+me ..
