The mower does nothing
Battery may not hold a charge. Even if a battery shows it's charged on the charger you may have a faulty battery. This is a common happening.
Wont start
If you were cutting long grass it sounds like you may have burnt the motor out. It may have over heated. they are not made to cut long grass. You don't say whether the motor runs but not the blades if this is the case you may have sheared the shear pin in the blade assembly.
When i start cutting grass for few minutes my lawnmower will trip the house breaker that is a problem
You may have an electrical circuit you are plugged into that has too many things running on it. Like appliances etc. To run an electric mower you should have a separate line right from the electrical panel as the mower does draw a lot of power. Most older homes are not wired to run these things. Sometimes a person will hook into a receptacle closest to the outside where they want the hydro run outside and they do not know what all is on that line.
How to adjust the height of the mower
If you mower does not have adjusters on the wheels then there should be three holes where the wheels are bolted onto the base. to adjust these you have to take each wheel off and bolt them in the same hole for each wheel. The top holes are the lowest the mower can be set the middle ones bring it up part way and the bottom hole is the highest setting. You should set the mower to cut at least two and a half inches above the ground. The center holes should be good.
My weedeater with auto line feed will not stop
Did you ever get an answer to this problem? I'd like to know because I have the same problem with my cordless 14" Black N Decker Gass Hog. I rethread it, but the line continually feeds and is out in about 2 minutes.
I need the electrical motor P/N 90565704-04.
Do you need a new motor or is it just the brushes which need replaced? Firstly unplug the machine and disassemble the motor or gain access to the brushes, found on either side of the motor at one end only. Remove the brushes (they usually unscrew behind the black caps), if they are burnt or look badly worn or are less than 5-8mm in length, replace them. The BRUSH is the black carbon rectangle of hard material at the end of the brass spring. New brushes are often 25-30mm in length as a guide. Based on that information you then decide if new brushes or a new motor is the answer. A quick tip; If you remove the motor and clamp it safely, connect the correct voltage to the motor lead and switch on long enough to establish if it is working and running freely. If you cannot find the parts locally, try www.4ourhouse.co uk.
How do I change from vaccum to leaf blower?
You haven't stated the model you're referring to.. Here's a link to a Black and Decker blower vac manual, but it might not be your model as I'm having to guess due to lack of info.http://compsource.manualsonline.com/user-manual/black_decker/blower/bv3600
CM1936
I have the same issue on one used twice, did you figure yours out?
I need to see the manual
Depending on your model and when it was made, there is a safety recall on these blowershttp://www.blackanddecker.com/support/safety-recalls/black-and-decker-bv4000-blower-vac-type-1
Lh4500 type 2
I removed the safety switch and banged it on a workbench multiple times while working the switch. Small amounts of dirt came out each time. I did this until I saw no more dirt. I tested the switch periodically during this procedure with a multi-meter. Switch worked intermittently when I first checked it, then worked consistently after "cleaning." Reassembled and the unit started right up!
Why is my black & decker blower/vac/mulcher stop working and not coming on at all
Most likely the on/off switch has failed. I repair B&D tools, and most new ones are not repairable, they must be discarded when they fail.
Type in the B&D on your computer and try to call the numbers you can find. I live in Florida, and my local B&D repair shop says "no parts available " for most things, new or old.
God bless your efforts.
