fuse probably went in the plug/extension-replace plug and mend the cable or replaceit

open the covers while unplugged and see if a wire came unplugged

you could clean with alcohol; and try using epoxy

If you have had it for a long time try checking the end of the cord if not the I got no idear

Look for labels with screws under them or flush plugs that are hard to see but have a screw under them.

Dear Sandi, If I read your missive correctly, I believe your mower is too small for this task. It would appear to me you could do one of 2 things. 1) mow it more frequently , before the grass grows so tall, ( like maybe 2-3 times a week,) or get a bigger and stronger mower. Remember too, electric mowers are not usually very strong, but gasoline engine mowers , some are so strong they can mow a forest! .God bless your efforts.

Check for containment in fuel tank, such as water. Also remove sparkplug for gunk.

We live in a townhouse so our yard is't very large. We had actually skipped a few weeks of cutting the grass since our reel mower blades were too dull to cut the thick weeds and grass.
