There are two possible solutions, depending on which password you can't remember. If you remember the password to log into the router, you can go to the wireless security page and see the wireless password (you may have to uncheck the "obscure password" box to see it). If the password you can't remember is the one needed to log into the router, I believe your only recourse is to hold the reset button for at least 10 seconds to restore the factory defaults. NOTE: you will then have to re-configure the router as if you had just taken it out of the box.

Your PSP does not support the WPS feature on the Belkin router. The solution is to turn WPS off. WPS can be disabled in the configuration program for your router.

Check for a firmware update and, if that doesn't work, call Belkin and discuss a possible warranty replacement.

I have had nothing but problems with their equipment and do not recommend it.

1) With direct connect with modem, check the IP address and default gateway.
(I came across such a modem, it gave default gateway as 192.168.1.254)
I also had the doubt of configuring as a dynamic connection
But it won't work!
Contact your ISP to completely bridge the modem and configure the dsl modem as PPPoE connection with correct username and password.
Finally connect the modem to router and do a complete network power cycle, i.e.: Unplug power from router 1st, then power from modem, unplug the telephone line and now do the exact reverse process... Plug back the tel. cable, then power to modem... now WAIT for lights on modem to come back, then plug in the power to router. This will surely work.

Just Install the hardware and insert the driver of the router...then follow the instruction...

Step 1:Connect Modem - Router - Computer (Wired)

Step 2:Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 on the address bar of internet explorer

Step 3:On the Left click firewall

Step 4:Leave the Password blank and click submit

Step 5:Disable it and click apply changes

Step 6:Scan and connect in the BLU RAY

Step 7: Get the IP Address of the BLU RAY

Step 8:Open Router Setup in the Computer

Step 9:On the left under Firewall Click DMZ

Step 10:Enable the IP Address of the BLU RAY in it

Why is Everybody talking about changing the SSID and password? There is no need for that. That is such a wast of time. But yes, if taking the action restoring the router with a hard reset yes you can configure the SSID and password of your choice. But if you are aware of your WiFi SSID and password (and I'm sure you do) then it is not necessary. As for this WiFi complication, you have to consider how your WIFi home network is set up. First off, WiFi is similar to a cordless phone connection. Farther you are away from the receiver the weaker the connection will get.. And just like a cordless phone connection, WiFi uses the same radio frequency 2.4GHz. connection. Also, devices such as Blue Ray, PS3, PS4, and X Box 360, require configuring the port forward settings to enable full features as to what the device can offer. Reason for this, your ISP disables certain ports due to security measures and vulnerability upon home network use. No need to worry about security issues because when dealing with these devices which require extra open ports, we configure that device only to have the access of those needed ports. Other than that, will also consider how many networks reside within your area with how many neighbors have there own home 2.4GHz home networks. Reason for that being is due to the 2.4GHz limited amount of channel frequencies which is only 11 channels. Your routers 2.4GHz radio wave will occupy 1 out of any of those 11 channels Fq Cyz and because of this there can be various amounts of other 2.4Ghz networks using the same channel which causes wifi connection problems for all networks smothering one another within the same channel. Due to that fact, the 5GHz Wifi Connection has been introduced but the disadvantage to that connection is how limited the distance you have to be as well how most devices are not compatible with the 5Ghz connection which does not detect the signal. So by fact, WiFi is a very vulnerable connection. The only connection that is reliable is ethernet (Direct connect). As for your Blue ray not connecting, make sure that blue ray can detect the SSID your home network is broadcasting. Also consider how far the router is from your BR. If you see your ssid within the settings while you are attempting to connect to WIFI, it should display a signal and if it shows weak, you may have to make a couple of adjustments as to move your router or blue ray closer to one another or consider a repeater to enhance the WiFi connection within your home. After you connect your router to your computer via an ethernet cable, enter the router's home page by entering 192.168.1.1 on a browser. Once there, look for DNS and enter the open google dns numbers.

open internet explorer and type 192.168.2.1 and the will get u to the belkin router page and then click on mac address control and then type ur password to get in to the router and it will take u to all the mac address u have allowed or denyed

Hi Christopher s crisp, Is it blinking Orange or steady? Blinking amber: The Router can't detect the modem. Either the modem is off, is not plugged into the Router, or is unresponsive. It could be the modem. You can try connecting the modem directly to computer bypassing the router and see if that works. Check the LED on Modem. Do you have other computers to test the connection? I think you have the upper light blinking and lower light solid. Is that right? The upper light blinking means that the connection to your ISP is not working. Try unplugging/replugging the Ethernet cable in the top port (probably yellow and labeled "WAN" or "DSL" or something). Check the other end of that cable. If you have another Ethernet cable, try swapping it out. If none of that works, call your ISP to check the connection.
