Jim, First thing I would do is try a different DVD to see if the problem persists. Otherwise, this device is equipped with integrated speakers, meaning it is unlikely that you will be able to replace them. This item is a USB2.0 device. Older computers use USB1.0 and new computers USB3.0. Depending on your computer age, this may not be recognized. I suggest you make certain all USB device drivers are up-to-date.

Either the phone needs a full reset / maybe battery issue / maybe mother board has partly destroyed itself! Lots of luck

Hi, Did you try unplugging it from the wall for 10min. It may help to reset things. If not you have a display issue bad capacitors on the video board. You should take it to a TV repair.
