U might try to reset the electronics of unit by disconnecting power while it is still turned on. Then hold the power button on for about 20 seconds. Then reapply power and see if that does the trick.

Quite common problem. Repair it or replace your player if repair cost is too high. Personally, I stopped using CD players time ago: I use a mp3 player.

Ah! This is an easy fix! All you need is a bigger sized paperclip or something of that sort. You bend out one piece of the paperclip (a 90? angle) and push the paperclip Straight in the little tiny hole you can see on the disc door or next to the door. It will manually turn the gears to roll out the door.

sounds like the amp is in protection mode. try disconnecting the subs and see it the light changes to green. if it does then the subs are your problem. if the light was allways red while it was working then the subs may be disconnected inside the box or have gone bad. try using a diffrent speaker and connect to the amp.
