TCL 55X2US. Picture freezing on Netflix ,intermittently, but always from around 4.30..PM
can I help you, sorry it's not android issues. not really
why not connect the TV to the router with cat5 Ethernet cable
even 100foot (30meters) cables are sold.
or move TV to the router locations for 1 simple test.
why not tell use if hulu and vudu fail too.?
or any of the 10,000 other streaming sources fail.?
but first we prove wifi is not the cause, as it is 75% of the time..
next is gee , use PC connected to the router run PC with DRM on and test the Netflix.
and see if netlfix works, as it must. for sure Ethernet connected.
now my bad story here in USA , I have x16 channel cable modem
with 200MB/s speed, (yah fast)
wifi fails, easy, if the hood , overloads it easy.
so does Ethernet work or not, and what is your wifi distance?, in feet or meters, TV to router, distance, far is slower.
If Ethernet works ok, then you solved your problems, in 5 minutes work. (amazing how well wired works no?)
lets say a PC works but not the 55" inch tv.
that means the Netflix apps fail.
I have two 55 inch TV here and 2 blue ray boxes
all 4 fail now for netfix.
the reason is simple , all 4, have old apps that maker flat refuses to update the ****** APP, so all 4 fail, in very odd ways
in fact HULU emailed me and told me my APP is no longer supported, do to major updates with the streaming protocols.
in fact all top sites did that.
netflix would flat freeze freeze randow or everytime I fast forward.
hulu whet flat dead,
so all 4 companies failed me. below.
LG , TV1
LG, TV2
sony, blueray
and Panasonic, " (all 4 said so Solly charley) arrgggggg!
the cure in my case, was ROKU. (I use gigalan on mine)
paid $100 for mine, and runs the most new APPS forever.
not one hiccup ever. (3 years on one)
and I run PLEX severs here too, and all that is failure free.
recap.
just one question, 1st
does wired Ethernet fail.?? yes /no???? . a $5 cable. test.
most apps if network links are slow?
shows buffering, does it?
