ASUS Monitor Model VX228H, When i turn it on, it just keeps flashing red, blue, green, white, and black. With a menu, but i cant get off this screen.

I think it is running a test mode. Some kind of button pressing combination might free it from this. It might go away if you can plug it into a vga source (pc, laptop) and hopefully change it from there. Good luck.

Windows wont start up when computer is turned on,

If you are interested in solving the problem more easily and quickly. I think you can try this computer boot up suite, a boot CD and several other data rescue tools that help get your PC going even if Windows won't start or computer won't boot up at all.

Laptop wont download music

maybe you made a misconfiguration with what you want to do.

what do you want to do? try installing k-lite mega codec pack so that your laptop would have complete codecs.

have you tried downloading music from other sources besides mp3rocket?

you want to burn music into a cd using itunes? why not use nero to burn.

Optiarc DVD+-RW AD-5540A decoder

If you are using windows with anything less than windows vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate, DVD capabilities are not built in. For example if you using windows XP or vista home basic DVD will not play. You need a decoder. You have a few options. 1. Buy a decoder pack. 2. Download a DVD player software like cyberlink trial version, install it and check how it is functioning for a few days. Buy and install a DVD player software. However, if you upgraded your compuer recently by adding a DVD drive, you may have recieved a Driver CD disk. Check that disk. check whether a trial version of any DVD player software is included. Most chances are there will be one. Once you got everything fine you can call the customer support for the DVD player software and if you are willing to pay, they will provided you with a key or serial number that will change the status of trial version to a fully working version.

Asus P5KPL SE & Sata, Bios "Not Detected Problem"..

The Asus bios won't show SATA devices.
However if you are using Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (or newer operating system then the devices should be detected. If this is not happening then enter the bios -- Storage Configuration -- Configuration Enhanced and set the IDE devices to compatible. This allows all drives to be "seen" and you should then be able to load an OS.

Why cant my ibuypower pc dvi port show the signal on my asus monitor?

There are several possible reasons for the DVI port not to provide a signal to the monitor. First, is this a desktop or laptop? For a desktop, do you have a video graphics card installed? If so, make sure that the DVI port to which you connected the cable is on the VGA card. Video ports on the motherboard will be disabled when the VGA card is active. Next check if the monitor is set to the correct source. Then turn off the computer and monitor. Turn on the monitor first and then the computer. This is the best way for the computer to find a new monitor. If this still fails, try a different DVI cable. If you are using an adapter, check that you have it in the direction. Not all adapters support two-way video signals. (This applies to most Display Port to DVI cables. It may happen with some HDMI to DVI cables.) If you are adding a second monitor, check the Display settings. (For most versions of Windows, right click on the desktop (no icons/programs) and look for a Display Settings button. For Windows 10, Start button > Settings > System > Display.) Use the Detect button to see if the computer has recognized the monitor. Then set up how you want the output to go to that monitor (duplicate screen or independent). If you have more than two monitors, check your hardware. Many computers will not support 3+ monitors unless Active Display Port adapters are used for the third and subsequent monitors. For a laptop, you may need to enable the external video adapter. Often this is disabled to save power. Enabling the adapter usually requires accessing the BIOS and that depends on the motherboard. You might need to press F1, Del or F2 repeatedly after turning on the computer. (There will be a splash screen that shows the appropriate key.) With Windows 10, the fast boot may make this impossible to see. From Windows, press Start and then power. Right-click on Restart to see the Advanced Restart menu and access your BIOS information. If the port is active, then see the above section on the Display Settings to have Windows send data to the monitor. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

ASUS X551CA Laptop - Audio/Ethernet/WiFi will not function, no matter if I install the drivers.

ok , what OS came on this new? for sure dont use w8, as the wifi engine it it is JUNK totally junk from MS.com i see Asus offered a free w10 upgrade, google searched 1st hit. says clear as day, not all features work, if done why not just leave it at w7 ? 1st and always, connect the PC directly from PC ethernet jack cable to router now the web works, and now the magic PNP works microsoft plug and play works, so does that cure the dead wifi chip? i can not know what chip is inside your PC for wifi, as the makers uses like 5 kinds even on one model. (what's on sale i guess.?) but they do. so only drivers for that unknown chip work in a real shop we run app called PCI-z, or the like. and see what chip it is then if the chip is dead, we get the driver from ASUS direct or from the chip maker, like say broadcom. here are the correct paths in order 1:MS PnP autoloaded driver, 2: Asus driver off their set 3: chip makers driver only those work and only those are virus free, ok? 1,2,3. only there is 1 exception but lets skip that, for now. if the ethernet cable fails, that is very bad, and very rare. for sure w10, plug and play on modern PCs supports all ethernent your support site is here https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/X551CA/HelpDesk_Download/ the ATK fixes, w10 compat. issues. asus does not disclose what chips are on the mobo , in there lame spec, page, (par) but we have tools do that , in all cases. so.... spec be damned. look at that page, you see all drivers are missing there this is like marketing ploy, (goons) that can communicate facts. it should say at the top, this. "ALL drivers for this product not seen below are at ms.com" did you install w10 64bit fresh (not 32 !!!) and did the ethernet cable run from PC to router if not OOP that was wrong, that 1st step. let the installer reach the MS servers, here that server is if curious. http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=PCI%5cVEN_10DE%26DEV_11C6 connect ethernet to PC RJ45 to router, cat 5 cable is ok, then boot the DVD< w10 or ISO built uSB stick. now fresh load w10-64bit, and all chips in the PC should hit the deck running. ok?

Asus RT-G32 Wireless Router Firmware 3.0.2.1

Have you tried resetting the router to factory settings? Beware that will erase all data on device. Have you checked if the correct DNS is set in the router? Contact your ISP for the proper DNS or you could try the Google DNS which is 8.8.8.8, more info here: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns
