If you are trying to do it from your cell phone for any type of app then go to the app it should say sign-in. Then put your password in so it will pop up and say forgot password. But google also have a slot of passwords from different account you open up when the times you made new account on your phone using a password save mode on it go to setting to your account the one you mostly use.

For managing my iOS device i use and recommend battery doctor app. It has options for deleting junk files. Also "Reset all settings" (not factory reset) will leave all your files intact and ,for me ,it makes system smoother.

Try closing all the open apps. Double click on the home button and long press (press for about 3 or 4 seconds) an app on the bottom tray. Tap on the red X and close each app. Don't worry, it's not deleting the apps, just closing them from the background. Try closing them all and see if that speeds things up. Good luck!
