I am trying to remove
Hi Denny--
It's a good idea to valve off the water to the fixture in question before you begin, as you can get wet doing this.
Inside that small hole you found should be an allen screw--of what size I am unsure. A standard-sized allen pack should have the size necessary.
Experiment by selecting the smallest available size, inserting it into the hole, and then trying to unscrew. If you don't feel anything catch, try the next size up.
Once loosened, the allen screw should come all the way out--be careful not to drop it down the drain!
With the screw removed, you should be able to remove the handle by pulling the handle gently away from the wall. Rocking the handle perpincularly can help, too.
If the handle has been on for a great while, more muscle may be necessary. Sometimes I sneak a flatblade screwdriver--wrapped in a cotton rag--between the handle and the wall plate and, with gentle pressure, pry the handle enough to loosen the bond between handle and control stem. Be patient!
Hope this helps,
Joe.

I'm making a concrete porch, do I need to lay a
If you live in an area where it freezes for long periods of time in the winter you should put in footers at a 3 to 4 feet and even if you don't live in freeze area you should put in footers at a 1 1/2 to two feet if want the porch, As for the 3" you may as well go with what ever a 2x4 comes to and you will not have to cut the boards dow to 3".

IF HAVE A AMERICAN STANDARD
It says you have a problem with the hot water. First thing to do is to turn the hot water supply valve under the sink off, and then remove the line from the valve to the faucet at the valve. Then put a bucket underneath the valve and turn it on (carefully). If you don't get any flow, then the problem is in the valve or the pipes supplying the faucet. If you get flow there, then the problem is in the supply line or possibly at the faucet.

I have very little hot water pressure on my
the pressure in pipes has to do with the volume. The bigger the pipe the better the pressure. Take the time to trace out your hot water line and see if you can find any old galvonized pipe, thats usually the problem in most cases. galvonized pipe over time will rust and corrode causing restriction in the water line. replacing it with 1/2" copper should solve the problem.

When dishwasher is running, water
Is there an air gap next to the faucet that is leaking. If so, it is probably clogged. Pull the cap off of it and clean it out. This is what it may look like before you take the cap off.

I have a one handle
If this is a newer valve what is probably happening is the valve is a scald guard valve and is shuting itself off when it senses no pressure on the cold side. I don't have a lot of experience with am. std. valves but I'm sure you can get instruction on line to set heat setting on valve higher. Thank you.

The cable system on the pop up assembly is not
One of two things can be wrong. The first is the drain plug itself has become disengaged with the plunger inside the drain line. You can check this by pulling up on the drain stopper itself, if it comes all the way out then all you need to do is to reinsert it and give it a little twist to get it reseated on the plunger hook. The other may be the drain handle on the top of the faucet may be disconnected from the rod. Open up the doors underneath the sink and inspect it. The rod should go down and the plunger handle should connect to the rod via a bent metal clip. Ensure it is in the correct position to activate the handle in the drain pipe when the top is pulled up.

Hi,
The noise you are hearing is know as water hammer....it is a result of the sudden change in pressure in the piping....it is not cause for concern just a pain in the rear...
You could replace the faucet, but many of the newr ones for some reason do that...the other way to fix it is to have a water hammer arrestor installed in the piping...
