Wobbly sink
you payed someone to do a simple job, which they've not done to a satisfactory standard.
you could either get them back to finish it properly or use some bricks to "stabilize the sink"... i know what i'd rather do.

Were is the flame detector located on a american standard hot water tank.
Hey. Not sure what model you have, but I assume you're trying to light the pilot. Remove the metal outer and inner (if applicable) cover(s) located at the bottom below the control box. with a flashlight, you should be able to locate the "thermocoupler" -that's a very thin metal tube about the thickness of cooked spaghetti. It should come from the controller and bend around a little until it ends in mid-air. That's where the pilot flame will first appear when you light it, and it should be always on, or else you will need to follow the instructions on the outside of the heater to do so. BTW: while the pilot should always be lit, the main flame (which heats the water) will only "fire" like a gas cooking range when the water in the tank starts to get cold - so don't expect to see any big flames any time you look. When you re-light the pilot, though, and turn the control dial to "hot", then you will both see and hear the flame fire up. Follow those lighting instructions VERY carefully, or the pilot won't stay lit (like, if it says to hold a button for 60 seconds, make sure you don't cheat). Good luck, hope I answered your question.

We have installed an american
The overflow pipe should be attached to a small clip that holds it in position over the over flow pipe. If it is loose or attached to the outside it will do what yours is doing.

My husband in stalled in shower vavle body. When bathtub is filling, water comes out shower head any ideas.
It's possible you installed the valve upside down, all values should be labeled in some way marking either hot and cold or it will say the word up where the riser tube port for the shower head is. If that's not the case remove the tub spout and check for any obstruction sometimes during tile or constructing debris can get into the pipe for your tub spout. Lastly the diverter on the tub spout could be bad. Try a new tub spout

Squeaky toilet
As the water in the tank reaches the full mark, the valve that shuts the water off begins to close. As it closes, less and less water is allowed to go past the valve. When the tank is at the full mark, the water is shut off completely. It's like letting air out of balloon. The smaller the opening, the louder the squeal. You may need to replace the float and valve set or some how lower the water pressure at the toilet.

How to fix a leaky toilet
-
Turn off the water at the shutoff valve, flush the toilet and hold down the handle. There may be a little water left in the bottom of the tank, but don't worry about it. Wipe the flapper seat with a clean cloth to make sure it's free of debris, and check it for cracks or splits (Image 1).
