How to connect Bluetooth ALPINE VIE X07B

Get the facia kit, Acc+ and Gnd are tapped off the cigarette lighter Batt+ is found in the BLUE plug behind the interior fuse box. Speakers FL, RL, RR are found behind the glove box and the FR speaker in the drivers kick panel. There are also other precautions to take when installing it to avoid frying the ICC computer which controls all the interior. When attaching speaker wires ensure you connect the correct side behind the glove box connect the left side of the cut and in the drivers kick panel connect the right side of the cut. Car stereos need a contant 12v power supply to retain memory for tuning and audio settings. It will be the yellow wire on the power harness to the back of your head unit.

Try holding down the set up button for 2-3 seconds. Press Dn or Up to select the subwoofer mode and the band button activate/deactivate SW function.

This is a cool bit of vintage Alpine gear so I get why you'd want to hold onto it. Open the case and take a look at the RCA sockets for mechanical damage. They may only need a dab of fresh solder to fix the bad connections. If the board has a break in it you can add wire traces to the section that has failed to create a new solid connection.

What gauge wire are you running from the battery to run your Alpine amp? If the amp isn't able to draw enough current to drive your subs, it will not function properly. It could possibly damage your gear. Also check that your battery and alternator are up to the task. Car audio will load up the charging system in a vehicle if it's low powered. You may need to upgrade your alternator and battery.
