IS the alpine 3552 any good?
alpine makes amaizing amps... as long as it's matched to the speakers/subs you are going to put on it this amp will last you a very long time... and it will put out amazing power... you won't be disappointed.
I have an Alpine 7510T
put the ignition on to just before starting the engine then add each number while u wait for the flash in between each number ie 1 flash 2 flash 3 flash 3 flash 4 flash 5 flash.
Removing my alpine 7510T
The trim ring around the radio must be removed, then slide alpine head unit removal heys in each side.
No sound out of any speakers on Alpine model CDA-9855
Make sure even thought the wires are the same color that your car color code also matches the color code of the Head Unit if not stock radio then the color code would be in your cars manual book or find it online in the image section of the browser you are using or better yet just order your self the radio adapter for your cars model for that type of head unit your installing or troubleshooting in your case and make sure all wires and positive wires are hooked up properly because some devices will not work if all the wires are not wired correctly meaning left terminal to left and right terminal to right speaker and positive and negative wires installed correct as well.. Hope this helped..
Is alpine going to upgrade the usb formay from
The Alpine CDE-103BT requires only USB media that is FAT12/16/32.
You can format your USB medium on your PC to FAT32 then copy your media (music) to the the USB drive.
Insert your USB Drive to the PC
On your PC navigate to Start ->MY Computer
Then locate your the drive that is your USB Drive.
At this time you will want to save any of your data before continuing. All Data on the USB drive will be lost. Next ensure that you have selected the correct drive.
Right Click on the drive on go to format...
Under File System select FAT32. I would suggest leaving Quick Format unchecked. So you ensure that will information is removed. Then Click start.
Next copy your media (music) back to the USB Drive. Insert in to the CDE-103BT Stereo.
Notes:
MP3/WMA/AAC files are prepared, then stored to a USB memory.
This unit can recognize at least 100 folders (including root folder) and 100 files per folder stored in USB memory.
Do not make a file's playback time more than 1 hour.
Need radio code for Alpine
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacturer's service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

Hi there,
I presume you have a "Renault" Laguna?
Here is a photo of the Renault wiring colours (Note: the tweeter wires have been custom-joined at the front speaker terminals - this is optional):
However, I strongly recommend you purchase an aftermarket "Renault-ISO/ISO-Alpine Harness Adaptors", which connects your Alpine unit directly to your vehicle's factory harness.
These ISO car audio harnesses can be purchased fairly cheaply online or at your local automotive car audio parts centre.
Cheers,
Only get sound wen rca's r in halfway
You have a bad set of RCA's. Try and get a pair specifically made for car audio. There are hundreds of brands, usually the cheap ones work fine.
What usually happens is on cheap RCA cables, wires inside the actual plug split apart and short out on one another. Get another set of cables and you'll be fine.
