AEG 50879

This option can be selected by pressing the corresponding button, and remains in memory until the same button is pressed again. This option modifies the phases of the programme in order to optimize performance when "3 in 1, 5 in 1, 7 in 1, ......." detergent tablets are used: - variation of the duration of the programme and the temperatures required to dissolve the detergent tablets. - reduction of water exchange - exclusion of introduction of rinse-aid - exclusion of regeneration If you use a dishwasher in the traditional manner (detergent, rinse aid, salt) then the Multitab function is disabled. If you use tabs that are already on the market with rinse aid and salt there is a possibility during washing cycle to add a double dose of rinse aid. From rinse aid dispenser and rinse aid from tabs. This will lead to poor cleaning results, glasses will look like they have been washed in milk..To avoid that you must turn on "Multitab" function and thus exclusion of introduction of rinse-aid from rinse aid dispenser. This function also stops the regeneration and will not spend salt because salt is already in a tabs. Also extends the washing time because tablets need more time to dissolve in relation to the traditional powder detergent. Dado

Could be: faulty power board (completly or only relay for heating element), faulty wiring between heating element and power board, faulty heating element (interruption, short circuit or current leakage,on some heaters faulty thermal protection). Depending on the model, the display shows the i60 fault code or the LED end of the program will flash 6 times (only model without display). Dado

I have a AEG F88060VIOP dishwasher - showing error coded ,00 and beeping. Not listed in manual - can anyone help id cause and fix please? Thanks

Fault code "i00" means "Low mains voltage" The electronic board makes sure the dishwasher operates within certain voltage limits. If during a cycle the voltage drops below the lowest limit, the electronic board suspends all loads and interrupts the cycle under way. The "i00" alarm is then triggered. The lowest main voltage threshold is 180 Volt. If the voltage goes back to over 186 Volt, the electronic board cancels the error status and the cycle resumes. The "i00" alarm is also deleted. If the mains voltage continues to exceed the maximum threshold, the electronic board does not do anything. My suggestion is to call your local electrician to check the voltage in your home. Dado

I have a AEG Favorit 65011 VI (dishwasher) which stops in the middle of a programm an shows error ",60" that is not mentioned in the Users Manual. Can you please help me?

The temperature must increase by a certain amount at each step. If there is no temperature increase during three minutes, the electronics will generate "Heating Time Out" or fault code i60. In this case program will continue to the end without heating and the washing result will probably be unsatisfactory. Could be: Heating element faulty; intervention of safety thermostats (open); faulty wiring; NTC sensor (poor thermal contact); insufficient water circulating in the tub; washing faulty pump (impeller stripped); circuit board faulty. Dishwasher no circulation

Hi Now you said it won't circulate when it gets to this point can you put your hand on unit and feel it vibrating like the motor is trying to run if so you have something in sump area jamming it. Remove foreign object. If it does not vibrate then you may have a bad motor or main board. To test if you know electronics look at board and find connection for motor and check if you get 120V if so then either bad motor or stuck. Good Luck

My dishwasher isnt cleaning the top shelf properly. not sure what has happened. cant find any probs. was working a couple of weeks ago. ive lost my user manual.

Most likely a blockage in the spray arm / nozzles or the draw is not fully sealing the water inlet allowing the water to bypass the spray arm /nozzles and go directly into the machine.

Aeg oko favorit 50500w water not coming in through spray arms

There are several reasons if spray arms doesn't spray water. First you need to check efficiency of circulation pump. If it works, then should check the turbine of circulation pump. Sometimes turbine blades can be broken and the pump does not produce enough pressure to turn the spray arms. Be sure to check that the filter is not clogged which can also causes same problem. Finally, check that the nozzles of spray arms are not clogged. So, could be: - motor circulation pump - circulation pump - filter - spray arms - electronic or power board Dado
