AEG 40850 - pump noise and running for long time, eventually showing error 20

There is a problem with drainage. Check the drain line connected to the disposal or peatrap. Make sure it is not plugged. Otherwise you can disconnect the drain line and put a wet vac on it to try to clear the hose

AEG favorit sensorlogic has no power.

Electronic is protected against short circuit throught out VDR - voltage dependent resistor which is located on the electronics. Unfortunately, when this happens usually get hurt some other component part or burn printed circuit boards. Pump will not stop running

It is difficult to answer the question with so few symptoms. The question would be whether the pump stops when you open the door? If not, then should checked for correct door switch, otherwise I think you need to replace the main board. If you see diagram bellow you can see that the motor is driven by the triac which is probable remain in the open position and constantly power supply motor. Some model has relay which switch between wash motor and drain motor and there is possible that relay stuck and motor also running constantly. 22778750-fvdtzpxoyys0i2rs1v4qjxt5-4-0.jpg Dado

Aeg slimline dishwasher 64800. AL5 alarm, but fills up

This control procedure is in operation only during the cold wash and heating phases.
  • Once the pressure switch has closed in the "full" position, it must remain "full" until the subsequent drain phase; if the pressure switch signals "empty", the fill solenoid is activated for a period equivalent to the period of aperture of the pressure switch.
  • The maximum aperture time for the pressure switch (T) during the entire phase is 60 seconds; if this period is exceeded, an alarm condition is generated.
Alarm: AL5 Possible causes:
  1. Dishes upside down
  2. Central filter clogged
  3. Siphon effect created in drain hose
  4. Leakage in sump - pressure switch tube.
