t have any connection with the battery. The proper way to test it is to do a parasitic draw test. As the vehicle is a few years old - it just may be the battery thats going bad, this can be tested too

at all the grounds should be 3, or pull off neg cable use a test light clip to battery touch the cable & if it light there is a draw. You can pull each fuse 1 at a time to also help find the issue
