...the wheel back until chain is tighter. if it has rear suspension there should be a small amount of slack in the chain when done. retighten axle

new 3weeks old transmission sounds like it has slack in it when you put in rev. it makes a clack noise when slack catches up , and when you go forward same thing when you let off throttle and get back
