any ideas?? Too much oil can aerate and foam up causing cavitation in the pump which will cause the system to not be able to lubricate properly. Drain the oil and put in the amount recommended by Ford

Oil pump sprocket doesn't need to be line up, it will function at anywhere, because no trimming mark for it? Are you saying that on the 1994 ford ranger 2.3L 4cy you don't have to set any timing marks
