My unit has no power to foot pedal. What are possible fixes? I have a Brother XL-3100 Sewing Machine - no power to foot pedal but light works. I have checked all plugs. I could not locate this machine

that tells you how much power it needs to play.(9VDC PS200R) BUT if the pedals display screen is on (as in its like showing lights numbers blah blah...) then, sorry but the pedal is most likely busted
