5W30 oil in it. 5W30 is a very light oil that will resist cold weather thickening sufficiently enough that it will start flowing immediately after starting. I know some people think that a heavier oil
but I advise using 5W30 as recommended. 10W40 may be too thick and will effect engine mileage. Especially in the cold when an engine needs to turn over easily and not be bogged down with thickened oil
