wouldn't turn on. I pressed the reset button (found next to the usb) and simultaneously pressed the power button - hey presto - it came back on. I have the Navigon 20 easy, hope this works for you too

usb port on the navigon , if you look closely the inside part (plastic ) is bent up o down , needs port repalacment or cord fix to the unit with standard usb at the end. This site led me to a solution

Navigon to the computer using the USB cable supplied and copied the manual from the Navigon to the computer. User Manual can be found at www.navigon.com/mobility. Its written on the bottom of the box.
