car will need a trunk latch micro switch located on the latch itself, You just need to remove the upper trunk liner to access. Then remove the bolts to the latch to loosen. the microswitch is attached

like you have a faulty button switch or bad wiring, since the solenoid and micro switch seem to be working ok with the fob. Keep in mind, There is no manual release switch for these. I hope this helps

but the shifter won't release if the brake lights are not working, it's the result of a bad micro switch..

and a/c not working also blowers are not working A defective HVAC blower motor controller, or relay/micro switch in the control panel may cause the heater/AC blower motor not to work
