Why does the unit does not seam to work on SSB?

...and if there isn't any you can expect the drive transistors. Try putting the radio into the RTTY or CW mode and see if there is any power output when you key the mike PTT. Good luck, 73's ...

My icom 706mk2g was working fine vhf/uhf rptrs, now no xmt or rcv no power output any mode ssb/cw as well as fm) no rcv tho ht can hear rptrs fine. tried 2 antennas and both work on other xcvrs. HF ok

Model 718. Why is CW mode kaput? After about one year of regular use the unit no longer transmits on cw. Now when I hit a dit or a dah the unit goes offline for a few seconds, then recovers. reception
