stator located inside inside the distributor [u must remove the distributor to replace this part], they are the problem, have replaced 100's of them at my Ford dealer, there is a calss action law suit

94 f150, 4.9. No ignition fire. Replaced stator, modual, coil tested good, have 12 volts at coil.? check the cam and crank sensors now. If at fault no signals will be given to produce spark to fire

replace the TFI ignition module and the distributor stator to cure this, the TFI is mounted on the distributor, the stator is in side and you will need to remove the distributor and pull the shaft out
