composite cable (http://www.mod-chip.com) might solve the problem... I hope the AV output of the GameCube is still intact, as by nature, being an electronic, is able to short circuit by a bad movement

av cables for the wii that i purchased from gamestop only play in black and white switch the colors around till it works. You are getting a video signal, but the colors are back wards. Are you hooking

AV input that matches the composite setup (the input that has red, and white audio inputs, and a yellow video input). If you have an S-video cable for it, then match it to the s-video input on the tv.
