t the problem then check for 24V at the unit board from W to common. If you have 24V there the stat isn't the problem. I don't know if your heater is gas or electrical, so there's not much else to say

24v and common with a color of wire for C. And if the t-stat takes batteries that you need to install, you shouldn't need C wired in. C is there so you don't need batteries, if it has a battery option
