SOURCE: Jamming paper

The paper pickup rollers might be worn out. They can be restored by rubbing Acetone (use gloves)on them just make sure that the acetone doesn't touch any plastic. There also might be a piece of paper stuck in the printer paper path. It might be out of sight and blocking the paper as it feeds into the printer.

SOURCE: x5150 printer turned; no paper in printer; paper feeder continues

Unplug the printer and then open the front and look at the Rear right side and you should see a small ce6913f.jpg
Tab If it is bent then gently with a pencil or pen push it back and try printing if it still gives you problems then contact Lexmark and if you still have a warranty they will replace it if not then you will have to get a new one.
Best suggestion for a new printer that is almost the same is the Lexmark X3550 printer.

Paper feeder stuck

If the paper feeder stuck, do the following:
  1. Gently pull any jammed paper out from the output tray or sheet feeder.
  2. If paper is stuck inside, open the printer cover and remove the jammed paper, including any torn pieces. Then close the printer cover.
  3. If paper remains near the sheet feeder, press the paper feed roller lever inside the paper feeder to release the jammed paper, then carefully pull it out.
  4. Load the paper correctly.
  5. Press the cp_button_14.gif stop button to resume printing.
  • If the printer continues to jam or misfeed paper, and you are certain that there are no foreign objects lodged down inside the paper feed area, your printer may require service. Please call Epson technical support for further assistance.

My fax is having a problem feeding pages through the document feeder, it doesn't always grad the page, and if it doesn't get it, it acts like it has a paper jam, what is causing this?

Open the document feeder. Inside you will find a grey feed roller. Cleaning this roller with a cloth dampened with water will help with these paper jams in the document feeder.

It says there's a paper jam or a scanner misfeed..but there's nothing there

Paper stuck inside the HP All-in-One can cause jams or also sometimes there are some instruction that get stuck in the printer internal mechanism .
Power off the printer , unplug the power cable. Wait for 30 sec. , Replug the power cable. Power on the printer.
Check for a stuck paper or torn bits of paper.
Clear jam from the back of all-in-one
Press in the tab on the left side of the rear door to release the door. Remove the door by pulling it away from the HP All-in-One.Trying to clear a paper jam from the front of the HP All-in-One can damage the print mechanism. Always access and clear paper jams through the rear door.
Gently pull the paper out of the rollers. If the paper tears when you are removing it from the rollers, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces of paper that might be remaining inside the device. If you do not remove all the pieces of paper from the HP All-in-One, more paper jams are likely to occur.
Replace the rear door. Gently push the door forward until it snaps into place.
Press OK to continue the current job.
Clear the jam from the automatic document feeder (ADF)
Paper can also jam in the automatic document feeder. Follow the steps below to clear a paper jam in the automatic document feeder(ADF)
Lift the cover of the automatic document feeder.
Gently pull the paper out of the rollers.
    Reload and test the all-in-one
Once you have removed the jammed paper, verify that the all-in-one is still functioning properly.
Reload the all-in-one with either plain or photo paper.
Print a page from a memory card or the computer.
If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem contact HP to service the product.

    Paper Jam

    Hi,

The unit may have a paper jam or stuck object inside, if you have experience a paper jam error before, check the printer for any object or paper stuck inside, clean roller.

Some error like this can be a problem on the feeder sensor and by this time you may need to replace and repair the unit.

    Hope this initial info helps

Paper is jam on the top feeder of Dell 1110

There is a section in the user guide that shows how to remove and avoid paper jams on this unit:
Click on the user guide link .
    http://www.generalmanual.com/Printers/Dell-1110-Laser-Printer.htm

Printer paper jams can be caused from:

Paper that is sticking to-gether - fan your paper from both ends and both surfaces before placing it into the printer

Paper tends to absorb moisture in high humidity - this can also cause it to stick and jam.

Always store your paper flat - many printers jam readily when supplied with bent or slightly damaged paper.

There could be a piece of paper stuck in the printer from a previous jam - especially if you have printed labels - it only takes one tiny corner of a label to cause paper jams in any printer - cheap consumer models to commercial models costing thousands of dollars.

Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
    Thanks, Joe
