E06 i keep getting E06on my camcorder

E06 is a service issue.

This error is very common and results when the battery life has been changed or altered due to time elapsing. There is not a lot that can be done except to request a new battery. I performed more research on this and found that an equivilent may be purchased directly from jvc.com for a fraction of the costs then replacing the entire unit.

this an indication of error detected by the sensor reader meaning that range has fail below 06degree the camcorder will need a resetting programing before you can do this you will have to put off the system for some time remove the battery if any then put it on again and then reset it the problem is solve .

Do some internet searches.

E01 means Mechanism has not fully loaded up to the stop position
E06 meansTape drive motor is not rotating or stalled.
Thses two faults indicate a tape jam. please remove the cassette and insert a new cassette.

There will be a error code on the screen start from E01 to E06

What error message appears,it should say E0..
