I have model kog 370a daewoo microwave since 1999. few days before its microwave rays are not working thatis why it is not heating the commodity go through it.

There could be a main fuse inside the unit. Mine has one that is ceramic, sort of like the old glass car fuses but ceramic instead of glass. Digi-Key has all kinds of fuses, www.digikey.com.

The problem is caused more than likely by a defective magnetron, "heats food" because it is the heart of the microwave oven it is the most expensive to replace, it is cheaper in the long run to buy a new unit rather than have it repaired.

Lamp is glowing but no heating is taking place
Could be a blown internal fuse, or a burned wire, you can open it and look yourself, burned wires and fuses are usually easy to spot.
Best to have a repairman check it out if you are not into electronics. Make sure you get an estimate of repairs before you give the ok to fix it, it will most likely be cheaper to replace it due to labor cost,
