Canon Fax L800 dead?

Hi everyone, my fax machine seems to have died - there is no 'power' showing. I have changed the fuse on the power plug but no luck. I wonder if there is a fuse inside the machine which has gone? I am not able to open the machine to have a look.

Sorry I am new to this. I thought I could fix it myself but sounds like it is not as easy as that so yes I will take it to a repair place. Thanks for your help.

There are fuses on the power supply board

I'm not sure what you mean but if you are referring to a dual line then no. You cannot have two lines coming into the L800.

Is there a fuse inside the L800

You probably have a dead low voltage power supply.

There might be a fuse on it, but a blown fuse usually indicates a bad power supply.

Deleting speed dials on canon fax L800

you should be able to delete the speed dials by lifting the two speed dial pannels and you should get all the configuration butons showing. ress the speed dials button (think its on the middle of the bunch) then delete at bottom right. this should then ask which entry you want to delete ie. entry No 1,2,3,4 ect Hope this helps Cops [email protected]

Changing the text on my fax.

Lift up the cover under the display and press the data registration key, push "set" then scroll down using the arrow keys and look for "user setting" push set, and I think you scroll to the option that says terminal id push set enter your new name and push set again then you can enter your fax number. at any time push the stop key to exit out
