It's been a while since I have dealt with these. There is usually an off switch located along the swing bar check to make sure it is in the on position and that the switch itself hasn't been disconnected. Double check to be sure the swing is level and the safety isn't stopping it from working.
Insert coin in slot in inside top right side arm (facing swing) & replace with 4 C batteries. I found assembly instructions on Mattel website (/Fisher Price)
The battery compartment is on the inside of the handle where it meets the swing arms. It should be on the left side. You need to pry it open with a key. Instrustions found on mattel web site.<br />
