Hi, i have recently replaced my projector lamp, as it would not power up when switched on the main led on the power button just flashed, after replacing the bulb the light continued too flash, i took all the power out and then left it for a short period of time and came back to switch it on and it worked. great, i had an evening of entertaining viewing, then when i went to switch it on today about 12 hours later, it would not power up again and the led light just flashed. i believe it is 7 flashes, which according to the research ive done means its a lamp door open error. if you can help or assist in any way i would be greatful.

In attempts to get your IN15 projector working, please try the steps below.

Disconnect AC power from the projector and wait for 10 seconds for supply to properly discharge.

While holding down the Menu, Select and Input buttons simultaneously, plug in the main AC power until

the LEDS stop flashing (approximately 7 seconds)

READY light is green when the projector is ready to be switched on
LAMP is dim when the projector is ON, but goes bright when it reverts to STANDBY.

Check that the lamp cover is fully down and the cover switch is activated

check the lamp cover and filter covers are secured properly

Please check the lamp & lamp cover .if o.k then suspected item color wheel or , main board or lamp ballst

reset the lamp timer. unplug it and plug it back in. hold down the enter, down, and menu buttons, then press the power button.

First check your lamp to make sure it is seated properly in the socket.
Then check all of your interlocks (see your manual for locations), these are usually located on any hatches or doors that allow access to the lamp and or fan area. Once you check your interlocks make sure the filter and fan area is clear of dust, (some projectors have air flow sensors), and the recheck the interlocks. Once this is done , If the interlocks are not broken, or the lamp fuse blown, the projector should be working. If not it is the lamp that needs changing.

I know this may be expensive, however these lamps do go bad, as much as we wish they would not.

If you still feel it is not the lamp, have a technician check the voltage levels to the lamp and the levels of the control board circuitry.
