How do I get a tech sheet for a Kenmore front load washer?

A simple thing to try before assuming you have a component failure is to UNPLUG the washer for at least 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). In some situations these error codes can be erroneous and a simple CCU reset will correct the problem. If the error reappears following a CCU reset, then you have a legitimate problem that you will need to troubleshoot to resolve.

For better access to the screws, you can prop the two front feet of the washer up with a 2x4. With the screws removed, the panel should drop down, then come off. The tech sheet will either be located directly behind the toe panel or affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls.

If this machine is a Kenmore 417 Sourse (WCI) built washer with a font load,check tech sheet.I had the same problem on a Frigidaire frontload and it was the door latch/lock assembly.These machines can be tricky sometimes.Use tech sheet and make sure lock assembly ohms out ok.

If unplugging it does not reset it look behind the bottom panel for the tech sheet with instructions to run a diagnostic cycle. If none of these work the control may have failed.

take the kick panel off and find the tech sheet. i believe you have3 either a bad pressure switch or something stuck in your pump. let me know how it goes

looking at the tech sheet for this, it appears to be a standard whirlpool top load but with electronic controls, correct? normalling with this type a lid switch is the issue but the electronics would have a different code for this, LD is Long Drain for this model. suspect a transmission but this should help you troubleshoot. go to www.servicematters.com and click technical reference - tech library - tech sheets, enter model minus 110.prefix. this will show tech sheet with diagnostics. this book can also be found inside your console.
