I think I have a fix for the lid. I need a couple people to send me their lid to see if my fix works. My fix does not involve any material destruction of the lid. I will send you the lid back regardless of whether the fix works or not.
Send me a note at [email protected] and I will give you an address to send it to.

Starbucks no longer offers replacement parts nor any form of support for the Barista (Solo or Grande) coffee makers...eBay is your best bet!
SOURCE: need lid for starbucks barista
The exact same lid is on the Wolfgang Puck WPTPCM010 coffee maker. (It's exactly like the Starbucks one - same size & fit.) Call (800) 275-8273 and order part # WPTPCM010-6; the product description is "LID FOR CARAFE". It will cost you $4.99 + 5.00 shipping. My Starbucks coffee pot works PERFECTLY again. Just make sure that you put the lid on the carafe correctly before you use it, since the seal is new.

Jackie, you probably have grounds stuck in the hole at the bottom. Try flushing it out with water at full force. Or clean it out with a pin. And don't forfet ti wash where the coffee comes out the other side. This can also happen if you're grinding the coffee too fine. It will seep through the mesh filter and settle into the hole like mud.
