You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

The procedure varies from machine to machine. Since you neglected to specify the model of your VTech 5.8GHz cordless system I can only suggest you enter it into the search box here to download a copy of the manual.
Where did your assistant check the voicemail? In a TVA system, each extension VM password can be reset from mailbox 999. If you don't have that password, you would have to call your dealer/installer or check their notes. If you're trying to get to the General Delivery Mailbox, it's done from the Message Manager's mailbox (998). Again, it needs notes, but I think you can reset that password from MB 999.
You can download the manual from the manufacturer's web site at

Bear in mind that the 6219 is NOT an answering machine. You'll have to refer to the documentation for whatever answering machine or voicemail service you're using.
If you're using the embedded voicemail, you won't be able to retrieve such messages. If you're using another, external, voicemail system, then it might be possible. Every hotel I've ever installed, I've left hotel admin guides for the voicemail. This information should be in such a guide if your vendor is any decent.
To find out what sort of voicemail you've got, you should contact your vendor.
The voice mail
is a function of your mobile provider. Many can be retrieved. Call your
voice mail and listen to the instructions to see if it says how to
recover your recently deleted mail.
If you can't get the info from your voice mail box call your provider & see if they can help you.
Don't wait to long or it might be permanently deleted.
the simplest way out wud be visiting ur network operator's outlet or call the customer care, as the voicemail number varies from country to country as well as from network operators too.
Hi
you cannot retrieve messages off the voicemail system I am afraid. If this is down to malicious calls and police are involved speak to O2 as they may have a way to supply evidence direct to police?
Regarding turning off voicemail here are the codes you need, dial 1750 to activate voicemail, 1760 to deactivate voicemail, 901 is used to call in and listen to voicemail and additional options i.e. greeting, pin etc.
WARNING! By turning off voicemail you will ERASE any messages in your voicemail as it resets each time deactivated! So only do this is messages are no longer required!
Hope that helps?
