How do i change my apn settings on my eternity so i can use the straight talk network

From the main screen of your phone open you menu, then messaging, then messaging settings, then multimedia message, then MMS profiles. from there create a new profile and fill in these settings:

Set Name: Straight Talk
Access Name: att.mvno
Auth Type: Normal
User ID: *leave blank*
Password: *leave blank*
Protocol: HTTP
Home URL: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Proxy Address: proxy.mvno.tracfone.com:80
Linger Time: 300
*leave advanced settings alone*

Save your profile and select it using the square on the right of the screen. You should now beable to recive multi-media text messages. Exit out to your phone main screen.
Press menu, then Media Net, then Browser Settings, then Browser Profiles, then select the profile named straight talk by pressing the square on the right side of the screen. You should then be all setup to use all forms of data and messaging on your new Straight Talk plan. I hope this was helpful!

Internet setting

To set up internet setting in your Samsung S5620, if your an O2 customer follow this steps:
  1. Tap Menu
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Application settings
  4. Tap Internet
  5. Tap Internet profiles
  6. Tap Create
  7. Tap the Set name box and enter O2 Pay Monthly then tap Done
  8. Skip past Bearer type as this is preset as Packet data
  9. Tap the Access name box and enter wap.o2.co.uk then tap Done
  10. Skip past Auth type as this is preset as Normal
  11. Tap the User ID box and enter o2wap then tap Done
  12. Tap the Password box and enter password then tap Done
  13. Skip past Protocol as this is preset as HTTP
  14. Tap the Home URL box and enter http://wap.o2.co.uk then tap Done
  15. Tap the Proxy address box and enter 193.113.200.195:8080 then tap Done
  16. Tap the Linger time (sec) box and enter 300 then tap Done
  17. Tap Save
  18. Tap O2 Pay Monthly to make it active (a blue tick should appear next to the active profile).
  19. Switch your handset off and then back on to complete your settings.

    The settings are now complete.

How to open smart gprs for my samsung star?

hi, if you are from philippines, you would want to do this... press message, then type this to your keypad. for SMART Internet settings,  type SET INTERNET  S5233 and send to 211, wait for configuration and install it to your phone.  go to your menu, press internet, select settings, select browser profiles, press the double arrow or >> to edit the acount, scroll down and select advance, check your static DNS to enable it and type the following server address to your server 1 ; 202.057.096.003 press save and exit the settings. 
to configure your samsung star for wap or gprs,  you can do the same thing, type in your message SET GPRS S5233 and send to 211, wait for configuration, save it and make it as default browser profile. 
if you want you can also do this manually.  1.   press menu 2.   select internet 3.   select settings 4.   select browser profile 5.   press create on the following boxes type this SET NAME ; SMART WAP BEARER TYPE : UMTS/ connection less (depending on your network) ACCESS NAME: WAP.SMART.COM.PH AUTH TYPE : NORMAL user id : smartwap password : smartwap protocol : WAP home url : www.smart.com.ph/wap proxy address : leave it blank linger time: leave it as it is press advance settings : check static ip address input this 10.102.61.46 leave static DNS. or if it ask,  check it and input 202.057.096.003

1. Scroll to and select Proxy Settings and press OK.

2. Press the End call key to return to the standby screen

Gprs settings

For BSNL South prepaid or post paid use following settings:

Start/ Settings/ Connections /GPRS

Connects to : Internet
Access point: gprssouth.cellone.in

Leave other items blank.

Start/ Settings/ Connections /Proxy

Donot creat any proxy

You donot require any thing else. GPRS will work on your mobile and also in Internet share. Internet share works with cable and bluetooth. Browse on mobile or laptop !!!
