After replacing the transmitter batteries several times, I tried replacing the clock batteries. They must have been getting low. Once I put in new batteries in the clock it worked fine. Good Luck.
Make sure the batteries are new for both the clock and the outdoor temperature sensor. Put the batteries in the outdoor sensor first. Wait to see the temperature reading on the sensor. Then put the batteries in the clock. In about 15 minutes the outdoor temperature should show on the clock.
Double check the batteries to make sure they are installed correctly. If one of the batteries in the outdoor sending unit is in backwards, it will not send the outdoor data. On the indoor unit, there is typically one battery that is used for receiving the signal from the outdoor unit. If all of the batteries are in correctly but that one, you will see the display and the indoor temperature information, but the outdoor information will not be displayed.
