The backlight for the buttons has stopped working

You have bad LED backlights, it's a very common issue, it's unfortunate you spent money on boards that aren't bad, order new backlights here https://www.shopjimmy.com/bn96-29074a-bn96-29075a-led-backlight-strips-new-12/ It's about a 3 hr job to change them, take pictures as you take it apart, use extreme caution when handling the panel, it's very fragile, tape the panel board to the front of the panel when you remove it or it could get damaged, if your panel has side wheat chips don't set it on them or the panel may be damaged, watch several you tube vids...GOOD LUCK!

yes the led backlight for whatever reason is not functioning and that is the root cause of your problem. Unfortunately to find a replacement led backlight is tough as the backlight is normally fixed with the lcd panel and has to match the voltage and all that stuff with motherboard. and if that doesn't match you might short the tv itself. this case is as good as getting a replacement lcd panel.

Humming usually begins when the backlight setting is low. For some sets setting the backlight anywhere from 95 to 100 works. Most wok at 100. So turning it up should get rid of the problem. You can follow the 5 steps below to change the backlight setting.

1. Turn the TV on.
2. Press the Menu button on the remote, located right below the channel changing button.
3. Press the down direction button, located at the middle of the remote. Press that button until the backlight is highlighted.
4. Press the right direction button until the backlight is at 100.
5. Press the OK button and then the Exit button until you get back to your picture.

There is some reason the LCD needs to be reset. Un plug the cord. Remove the front panel, on the top right you will see the small circuit board. On the right of the circuit board there are a few connectors. Disconnect them all and leave for 30 minutes. Put it back then plug in the cord. It will work again. If not then it needs to be replaced. Unplug alone the cord didn't work for mine. Good luck

You either have a bad LCD or bad backlight board. The backlight on your screen is no different than a light bulb. If it burn out it stops working, if these is no power to the backlight your screen will have an image but no backlight to see the image.

yes you need to replaced the LCD to make it work again.

I had the same problem. The seller told me to reset the watch by pressing down on all four buttons at once. Sure enough, the backlight function was enabled again.

The Motorola V3m has a light sensor, which is visible just above the right soft key -- the key above the CLR button. This light sensor turns the backlight on when you press a key in the dark and disables the keypad backlight when you are in a well-lit area.

Your phone sounds like it's operating normally. I believe they disabled the option to activate or deactivate that feature.

Did you try to set the Backlight on in the control panel? (settings>system>brightness) The brightness is often automatically set to 0. If you did this already and it still doesn't work, probably try an email.
