Hi. Just wondered can u help me. My washing machine 12mths old. It is not spinning properly and error message I think 0 and back to front 3. Lost manual and cant decipher code. water still in machine. purchased Harvey Norman. Do you know what the error message is and how do I go about getting a replacement manual! thanks The model is LG WD-1049C

I think there is nothing wrong with your washer. The UE error means Unballanced Error. This error comes up in two cases: 1. the load is distributed unevenly in the drum or 2. the machine is not properly set on an even surface (floor). Of course, it could be a third case possible, but very unlikely, when the ballance sensor itself is malfunctioning and have to be replaced, or the spring and dampers are worn out and also have to be replaced.
'de' on LG machines normally stands for Door Error - it thinks the door is not closed properly. This means that either the interlock requires adjustment, if that is physically possible on your machine, or the sensor is malfunctioning.
Whichever it is requires a service engineer, sorry ;-0(

As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
