How do I sort a database (2000 plus names) by first and last? Note there are some interesting problems with names like: Dr. Marry Watts, James D. Duncan, M.J. Steen, Mary Ann Horn (two words one first name), Marie Del Torro (two words one last name), J. Robert Riser. I can't seem to find a solution...

How do i wire three ma audios 12" to one hifonics brutus 2000 watts amp? at 500rms each speaker? what is required?

Firstly, lay all 3 speakers face down next to each other. Note the connections +- +- +-. The first + will go to the amplifier. The next terminal(-) will be connected to the center speaker(+). Take the center speaker (-) and connect to last speaker (+). The last terminal(-) will go to amplifier. Please note that your amplifier has a bridge section which is normally the first + and the last- on the two channels. Connect your woofers on the bridge.

When creating a new email in Outlook 2007, if I click on the "To" button to pull up an address from my Contacts they are alphabetized by First Name. How can I get them listed by Last Name?

To setup up contacts by the person's last name. In Outlook, when you compose a new message, and then click the To or Ccbutton, the Contacts list may display names that are sorted by the contact's first name. Here's how you can change the list to display entries by the contact's last name.
Sort the Contacts list by the File As field
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, click E-mail accounts.
  3. Click View or change existing directories or address books, and then click Next.
  4. Click Outlook Address Book, and then click Change.
  5. Under Outlook Address Books, click Contacts: Mailbox -YourMailboxName, and then under Show names by, click File As (Smith, John).
  6. Click Close, and then click Finish.
Verify that the newly created contacts are filed in last name, first name order
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click the Preferences tab, and then click Contact Options.
  3. In the Default "File As" order list, click Last, First.
  4. Click OK twice.
  5. To view the new Contacts list sort order, restart Outlook.
NOTE If you want to display a particular contact in a different order than the rest of the Contact list, you can modify the File As field in individual contact cards. For example, you may want to sort some contacts by the Company field.

Excel lookup - match index array

The best solution may be to re-define the named columns, or to add new names to multi-column arrays, then use the VLOOKUP function.
Note that the "indexed" named cells must be sorted by the index column.

Unassigned Users

Unable to answer your problem without more information. Is this a database? What program? Or users on a computer? Is it possible to undo what you did? For future reference, pressing the control key and the Z key will undo whatever you just did. This will usually work for several edits backwards. Probably too late to help, but you should have a backup of the databases (if that is what this is). Download or copy/paste it to replace the one that is messed up. Then it is easy to look up on the Internet how to do almost anything to do with databases. If it is a simple database, be sure to keep your backup intact (that's why you copy/paste and not cut/paste) and try grabbing the top of the last name column and drag it to the other side of the first name column. If that doesn't work, cut the column and then paste it on the other side.

Change display of contacts to first name, last name in outlook 2003

In most phones, there is an 'options' or 'preferences' in the address book that allows you to sort by first name, last name, etc.

As far as Outlook goes, when you are in the contacts tab, there is a link on the left that says "customize current view". Click on this and you can select fields to pick what fields you want displayed or select sort to pick how they are displayed.
