Look on the back or bottom of the Durabrand Home Theater system and look for the UL code. Google that code and it will tell you the orginal manufacture of the unit. You can then look up the code, and more than likely you will see that Durabrand is not the orignal maker. Hope this helps>
Durabrand codes are very difficult to find, only few codes are public, as this manufacturer is not listed on universal remotes user manuals. You can find few codes on discussion groups, often they do not work. The requests usually stay unanswered:
I have a sts92 system and run the tv sound through it for surround sound. My Tv has an AV out option, so I ran component cable from the AV out on the TV to the AV in on the sts92. When watching TV, turn on the theater system and set the function to AV in.
