What exactly do you mean by goes silent? Does the screen turn off but you can still hear the audio? Please provide this info so that I can help you with your problem.
Ok. Now I understand. Does this happen when you are using other input sources such as a DVD player? Also please let me know through which input the cabel is connected to the tv(HDMI/RCA/Component RGB?).
I was only requesting additional info. Why give a bad rating for that? I suspect that this can be a malfunctioning tuner circuit but I just wanted to be sure of it before I tell you what part to replace to fix it.
I have provided this information on the malfunction, we don't seem to be getting anywhere.
I'm not satisfied with the lack of results. Cancell, do not charge my credit card.
You will not be charged alright and I see that you have been refunded(should appear in your account in acouple of days). I wanted to help you anyways. Additional info requested must be provided for us to help you fix it. I have also asked which of the inputs cause this problem, for which there is no answer. You can either wish to continue being rude or provide the info so that I can help you.
TV Connected to input designated for TV
DVD Connected to input AV1
NET GEAR to input HDM11
Problem occurs on all connections
This is a 100% main A/V board issue. Its the board that has all the audio/video procesing circuits which are malfunctioning. Turning it off will reset the circuits but its only a temporary fix, as you have already seen. Replacing the board should resolve your problem. For a set of this size the board usually costs under 100$. Let me know if you wish to replace the board yourself so that I can help you find a replacement.
You are welcome. I would also appreciate it if you can just change the rating.
Dear Eagle338, I am having the same issue. Can you please help me find this part, would really appreciate. [email protected]. Look forward to your help!!!

As described,no sound orange screen. to restore must turn set off then on . Happens eratically, can occur In 5 or 10 minute intervals or last up to an hour or so. Seems to happen when programing is most interesting.
