i have the same problem today r4 doesnot work but original games work. bought the card slot from ebay . is it a problem with the new slot?

she may have gotten a game wet or there is a dust build-up in the slot for ds games, she could've also bent a pin in the slot that connects to the game. You may have to send it in for repair.

they should work automatically when plugged in, take any card out of slot 1 which is the master slot and restart the ds with the gba game installed

try different games instead of one, could be the GBA [game boy advance] game that is broken! or it could be the DS slot for it so try using an other GBA game to see if it works! if not then see if you have a warrenty on it from the store you bought it from, warrentys should cover it if the other GBA games dont work on it! no warrenty i guess you could have nintendo fix it but im sure for a hefty price!

Its because the ds only lets .gba games work in the gba solt and .nds in slot 1. I suggest you get a slot 1 flashcart.

it may be a technical difficulty in the gba slot try bowing in it or get a q tip and kinda dust it out or blow in the game becuse the game isint making any connections to the ds and with the charger thing if u push in the charger too hard you might mess up the reciving thing inside the ds so it wont get the charge so be very careful when it comes to ds.....if u have any more questions plz let me know

their are 3 solutions but i cant asure that it will work
1. maybe when they play ds games like pac n roll the ds cardejects for some reason so sulution 1 is put tape ontop of the ds gamecard slot while their playin a ds game
2 maybe when they play a gba game the game pak is being hit by their chests or bellies so the card is moving a bit and the game freezes so put a big distance between the ds and the chest or belly
3. dont wiggle the ds alot and do you drop it often because if it is dropt often the ds will freeze often

Try getting the latest version of the firmware for ur ds. After u download the firmware, put ur card into card reader. Use computer to delete everything except ur games. Then put the firmware that you downloaded into the card. See if it works.
