Dear Friend,
I have a problem.
I bought a TRENDNET ACCES POINT TEW-630APB in order to extend the range for a THOMSON ST 585 router&modem.
I was not satisfied because the range was same, and I modified many settings...till the WLAN light is OFF even if everything is pluged in.
From the right to left we see green the following lights:
POWER light green, one light red, one light red, one light nothing, one light nothing, LAN light green, WLAN light nothing, one light nothing, one light nothing.
I repeat that the TRENDNT ACCES-POINT is pluged to thge power and also to the modem properly.
when I write 192.168.1.100 the page cannot be displayed.
Also, I pushed on RESET button 2 minutes and nothing happened.
What should I do?
WLAN light will give you the status of your wireless connection. If WLAN light is off, it might be a possibility that wireless has been turned off or worse is the device had stopped broadcasting a wireless signal. you may try using 192.168.1.1 to get into the setup page of the device to check if wireless has been disabled.

hello!
-- what is the exact model number of your access point and router?
-- what is the ip address of your access point and router?
-- what is the operating system of your computer?
-- Is your computer directly connected to the router?
-- Do you have a wireless computer? what is the model number of the wireless adapter
if you want to configure your access point with your router you may try the ff:
Step 1: Connect the Ethernet port of the access point to one of the Ethernet ports of the router
Step 2: Make sure the power adapter is plugged to an available power outlet
Step 3: Check if the corresponding LEDs on the access point are lit
Step 4: After connecting the devices together, configure the access point’s wireless settings
Step 5: Open the access point’s web-based setup page
Step 6: When the access point’s web-based setup page opens, change the SSID, Channel, and Wireless Security.
