No lights(lits)on WLAN-No acces from the computer

Dear Friend,

I have a problem.
I bought a TRENDNET ACCES POINT TEW-630APB in order to extend the range for a THOMSON ST 585 router&modem.
I was not satisfied because the range was same, and I modified many settings...till the WLAN light is OFF even if everything is pluged in.
From the right to left we see green the following lights:
POWER light green, one light red, one light red, one light nothing, one light nothing, LAN light green, WLAN light nothing, one light nothing, one light nothing.
I repeat that the TRENDNT ACCES-POINT is pluged to thge power and also to the modem properly.
when I write 192.168.1.100 the page cannot be displayed.
Also, I pushed on RESET button 2 minutes and nothing happened.

What should I do?

WLAN light will give you the status of your wireless connection. If WLAN light is off, it might be a possibility that wireless has been turned off or worse is the device had stopped broadcasting a wireless signal. you may try using 192.168.1.1 to get into the setup page of the device to check if wireless has been disabled.

hello!
-- what is the exact model number of your access point and router?
-- what is the ip address of your access point and router?
-- what is the operating system of your computer?
-- Is your computer directly connected to the router?
-- Do you have a wireless computer? what is the model number of the wireless adapter

if you want to configure your access point with your router you may try the ff:
Step 1: Connect the Ethernet port of the access point to one of the Ethernet ports of the router
Step 2: Make sure the power adapter is plugged to an available power outlet
Step 3: Check if the corresponding LEDs on the access point are lit
Step 4: After connecting the devices together, configure the access point’s wireless settings
Step 5: Open the access point’s web-based setup page
Step 6: When the access point’s web-based setup page opens, change the SSID, Channel, and Wireless Security.

Why my router trendnet tew-731BR doesn't working?

You have to look on the tag at the base or back and find the IP address and admin / password sign in to set it up. Set of numbers like 192.168.0.1 or www.routerlogin.net then when on the routers server you can enter your ISP details to get the router setup.

How do I change the channel on my TRENDnet TEW-432BRP router?

To change the channel, you need to loginto the router management page and click on the WLAN tab.

You can find the channel information under the WLAN tab. Change the channel ( channel 1 , 6 , 11 ) are the non overlapping channels and mostly prefered.

When I enter http://192.168.10.1 for the log in page for Trendnet, it does not come up. I cannot get to the initial log in page for Trendnet.

you are possibly not using the correct information to log into the router.

Please verify your hardware and TCP/IP settings again by following the instructions in sections 2-3, make sure the Power, Wan, WLAN,and the LAN lights on the AP/Router's front panel are on, and verify that TCP/IP configuration is correct. Then, try accessing 192.168.1.1 again using the web browser.

Access point failure

Unfortunately cyber this does not have a mode or option to act as a repeater .I have check their website and check the specification of the device..You may want to get the WAP54g from Linksys as well for it has that option (act as a wireless repeater) or get the WRE54G wireless extender or repater for Linksys router.

Hope this was informative.
