Completely remove program.
Download latest printer update for your printer from Lexmark, following instructions to install.

Rem to have the printer turned on, so system is able to detect printer signal.

Check your color ink by dabbing on a damp paper towel, you should see 3 distinct lines, one for each color.If any color is weak or missing it will never pass alignment and you need a new cartridge.

open the lexmar productivity center
activate the wizard and click on "change printer cartridge"
take the printer catridge out and wait 15 seconds
reinsert the refilled cartridge
confirm change
when asked if the inserted catridge is new, answer "yes"
