There is a CLR CMOS jumper on that MB next to the SYS FAN 2 connector by the IDE header

open = no clr
jumped= Clear CMOS

From the manual page 32

Use this jumper to clear the CMOS values (e.g. date information and BIOS configurations) and

reset the CMOS values to factory defaults. To clear the CMOS values, place a jumper cap on the

two pins to temporarily short the two pins or use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch the two

pins for a few seconds.

• Always turn off your computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before

clearing the CMOS values.

• After clearing the CMOS values and before turning on your computer, be sure to remove

the jumper cap from the jumper. Failure to do so may cause damage to the motherboard.

• After system restart, go to BIOS Setup to load factory defaults (select Load Optimized

Defaults) or manually configure the BIOS settings (refer to Chapter 2, "BIOS Setup," for

BIOS configurations).

Forget GA-6VTXE-A bios password.

To Reset the BIOS Password, Remove the CMOS (Coin-cell) Battery from the motherboard for five minutes and restart the system. This will load the factory default settings and the password would be gone.
GoodLuck!

Problem with the Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L Motherboard Continuous short beeps on power up.Then shuts down

Trying to help you, please clarify me if the beeps are short or long ones, or some (how many) shor followed by some (how many) long ones. Don't worry, leaving the computer at "beeping mode" won't hurt it. Sorry for the details but these kind of codes identify if it's a motherboard, or CPU, or memory error.

Waiting clarification, don't hesitate to post.

Thanks and regards

No power to GA-EP43-DS3L motherboard

When connecting your psu and its atx connector to the mainboard, have you connected the +4 connector ? If your psu does not have this extra +4 connector, you may need to buy one.

Also check you have connected the cpu power (12v 4 pin plug)

EP43-UD3L Sound problem

you will need to download the newest drivers for your motherboard, make sure you download the right ones for your operating system. I used to go to the manufacturer's website to do this all the time but now i'm lazy and i just google: (motherboard model) drivers download. By the way i don't ever mess with disks anymore because its bound to be outdated by the time you get it.. they make good coffee mug coasters though.

Flashed bios wont boot ga-ep43-ud3l

Hi,
Seems like your bios update failed, was corrupt, wrong version or was interrupted.

It's very difficult to recover from a failed bios flash , but if you are lucky you can try clearing cmos then take the battery out overnight. Then reinstall battery and do a HARD BOOT.

If that does not work try this site and read recent comments.

Good luck,
